In the brick and tile industry, hydrogen is regarded as a key energy source for achieving the legal requirements for climate neutrality by 2045. A three-week test under real conditions has now shown that hydrogen and a specially developed burner technology are well suited to producing climate-neutral clinker bricks.
Christian Hagemeister: „We expect support in expanding the pipeline infrastructure and the availability of hydrogen at competitive prices. We also need to create a set of regulations for the use of hydrogen that is appropriate for small and medium-sized enterprises.“
The conclusion of those involved is that as soon as hydrogen is available in the region in line with demand, nothing will stand in the way of climate-neutral clinker production.

Logistics
In the warehouse, clinker bricks for future projects from the same production are often stored for years in advance. By using barcodes, Hagemeister is able to master these major logistical challenges efficiently. Every pallet and every brick has its own fixed location, optimising the use of valuable storage space and saving time.
Sales
Products that have a lasting impact on the streetscape require not only the highest quality, but also expert advice. Sales must respond specifically to the requirements of architects and building owners in order to realise durable and sustainable solutions together.
